A Habit is an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary:
an example of a good habit would be, the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.
It is something that you do often, because you have done it many times before.
A quote by~Horace Bushnell says that
'Habits are to the soul what the veins and arteries are to the blood, the courses in which it moves.'
Your habits are the course in which your life giving resources flow! It is true that you will become what you do day by day. The habits you have will create your life for you. So take a look at your habits! What do you do each day? Are your habits creating a powerful life for you, carrying you on to your preferred destination? Or are they keeping you down or even just letting you stay in the same old, same old?
Suggested Action Point: Start to create new habits that, if performed over time, will carry you to your preferred destination. For example: If you want to write a book, write one page a day. In a year, you will have a book. If you want to lose weight, cut out that daily cookie you have. Over a year you will have cut out thousands of calories from your diet and you will have lost weight. Take a tangible step today to change your habits and develop new ones!
Decide now on something you really want and get into the habit of doing something positive about it every day.
Peace and Love
